Re: Holiday Confessions/Unpopular Opinions

A few events that happened around this time of the year -- not actually holiday-related but my mind decided to associate the two anyway -- also added to things. The holidays gradually became something to avoid rather than something to anticipate.
Either way I've gone from the type of person who'd have been decorating the house at 00:01 a.m. on December 1st to a miserable creature who can't wait for it to be over and actively switches channels whenever holiday commercials come on my TV. I heard a Christmas song on the radio yesterday and switched it off in sheer disgust, before realizing that it was December 4th and you know, if they're not gonna play them then when can they?
