Y'know, I could see somebody making a case for the loaded specialty rolls being ~problematic~ or at least warranting a distinction from classical sushi. Because I've eaten at restaurants that had "sushi rolls" containing (among other things), buffalo wings, alligator sausage, ranch dressing, and crumbled potato chips.

Not all in one roll. Just a few ingredients that came to mind. The potato chips were on an eel roll and it was amazing.

I just vomited a little in my mouth. Then I thought about the southwestern 'egg rolls' at Chilis and barfed up the whole enchilada.

The eel/chip roll was the only one I ate. I just remembered seeing that sort of stuff in rolls and going, "wtf." My friend had the buffalo roll and said it tasted like the leftovers that you would eat while hungover after a party- takeout rice and a boneless wing.
