Maybe that kind of reaction is a withdrawal effect of your meds?

I know that if I quit my migraine meds too suddenly I'll get strange depersonalization episodes and sleep issues, despite the fact these meds should have no psychological effect whatsoever.

Withdrawals, even just for a short term, can do weird things anon. If you can't chat to your prescribing doctor about it then maybe a pharmacist?
