Yeah, they probably had more important stuff to do. They took the report, filed it, and (probbaly) did actually try and solve it. But unless stolen goods show up or something is caught on camera not much they can't do. This isn't CSI.

No, I agree, but they could've been a bit nicer about the whole thing. It's really scary coming home as a kid with your little brothers and no parents home yet to find your door kicked in and your stuff gone through/stolen. (And lol, no one tried to solve shit. Who the fuck cares about a burglary where no one is hurt. That shit went in a file and no one ever looked at it again. We found out later through the grapevine that it was my brother's "friend.")
