I once was at a restaurant with a family member. I had ordered some Romanian sausages called, iirc, "Mittitei."

One of my sublings pointed out that the sausages looked like dog turds. Which they did. Being a poor college student at the time I had to eat them; and even though I knew they weren't excrement I just gagged on every bite.
