Ringtone: "Ghosts of Reach" from Halo 2.
Text message: the flute playing the Close Encounters five-note phrase, from the communication sequence.
Google Hangouts: the sound of disarming a mine in KOTOR2.
Calendar event/alarm: "Tank!" from Cowboy Bebop.
Time-to-wake-up alarm: the "ooga chaka" section of "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Swede.

I edited all the files myself, most of them on the phone, though the mine disarm sound I had to pull from the computer.

I change them whenever I get bored, or when they stop working - like I don't think "Tank!" is going anywhere, because I've had that sound for calendar events for three years and I still jump when it goes off.
