I'm behind you, anon. Patrick was both nice and incredibly sexy. Self-insert all you want!

Myself, I want more Sewing Bee just for the sewing. They were all so good! Claudia's voice over was also excellent.

I once made a dress from a pattern and it took me about a month. They knock those things up in a few hours on Sewing Bee. Total respect.

I've much more amazement for how cheap all those clothes are in the shops now. It's staggering, how we take it for granted.

This. That show makes me wish I could sew.

ayrt

The hardest part of sewing a dress from a pattern is surprisingly cutting the fabric. So many things can go wrong. At least with the sewing itself you can rip it out.

I've been sewing and knitting, off and on my whole life, but I don't come close to any of those Sewing Bee competitors. In RL I know some people who can, and it's a real skill.

The level of detail Patrick and May look for blows my mind.

Yay, a Sewing Bee secret! I love that show, although in the first series the host's incredible long, eye-covering fringe was very distracting.
