I don't know about this kink in specific but it actually makes a LOT of sense to me! On the one hand, you're finding unusual things can be part of sexy times...even people who had alien biology. That makes it feel more OK to accept your own, actual biology instead of how the media says you're "supposed" to look/feel like/act. :-) Good for you! Sometimes unusual things can help us feel more accepting of ourselves or others, and that's great, IMO. :-)

I'm not seeing anything problematic. What's problematic about xeno? Unless it's specifically Aliens, in which case there's the whole rape metaphor. But, aliens in general, what could even be problematic?

I'm guessing that OP may think of themself as alien, instead of accepting something about themself that's unusual.

If that's the case I don't think that's necessarily problematic, but I can see how they might believe it is.

what I like about xeno x human pairs and smut, is them coming to terms with the creepy "other". I want one of them to see the xeno bits as weird, gross, off-putting, alien, etc at first, but never be disrespectful.

And then they get into it because they of course luuuv their partner and then find the xeno bits sexy by being open for it and loving their partners sexual expression.

not that all xeno fic is like that, but many fics which are about finding tentacles sexy still have elements of learning to relate to and to appreciate "the other", right?
In a way it's easier and safer to read xeno than to delve into the many ways existing "otherness" get fetishized or mistreated in sexual contexts. And sometimes you just want that otherness to be acknowledged!
So I don't think it's problematic, OP. Creeps and assholes may misuse the tropes, but you feeling more ok is much more important.
