How often do you wash your hair, F!S? I've got really thick unruly Jew-hair -- not only do I have a lot of it, I could swear that the individual hairs are fatter than average. Only a little natural curl, but it frizzes if you so much as breath on it (which can usually be counteracted by some product, but not always. It rains or I get my period? I look like I've been playing with one of those static ball thingies that make your hair rise up.) So I wash it twice a week but only shampoo it one of those times, because I need it to be heavy to look decent.

Tbh, it looks best when it hasn't been washed for a while.

Every other day, about.

Whenever I feel like it. It could be 2 days later up to more than a week.

Every other day... though I usually don't shampoo, just condition.

Depends on the season or level of activity. If I'm sweaty, or swim and get chlorine in it - daily. But in colder seasons, 1-2 a week. I could do it even less, really. My mom and grandma both had the sort of hair that could go without washing for 2 weeks.

I wash it every evening and I damp it down every morning. It's a ball of fuzz if I don't do that.

Every other day but I'm trying to get my hair used to going longer between washes.

I alternate every other day with shower cap and no shower cap, and then of those no shower cap days, condition and condition + shampoo, so...

Every 2 days = condition.
Every 4 days = shampoo + condition.

Usually everyday, unless I'm gonna stay at home or can wear a hat all day. In that case I do it every other day.

Every 2 or 3 days. I tried 3 or 4 for awhile but the oil buildup wasn't letting up so I think my hair works best when I wash it every other day. Every now and then I get kind of lazy so it may go 3 or 4 days without a wash.

Twice a week usually. Mine is super thick and wavy/frizzy and doesn't do well with daily washing. It gets all dry and frizzy. And I only condition once a week and don't use any other products. Mousse/gel/hairspray ruins my hair.

Every day, if I'm working, otherwise it looks like I fell head first into as grease pit and my scalp feels yucky. Sometimes, i can go the weekend without washing it, but not very often. I shampoo/condition every time.

A couple times a week. My hair is super thick but that is a non issue since I started getting it cut short. It's mostly when it begins to feel icky or I have to go to an event the next day.

It's that way with curly hair. I hear it responds best to infrequent washes. I've got really fine hair, so I can't do more than a day or so between washes without it looking like I crawled out of a dumpster.

Depends. If I don't have to go out, every second day. If I have to go out, every day. My hair is super thin and always looks like crap if I don't wash it often enough.

Every other day. My hair is thick but stick straight and really can't go longer than that. Plus my scalp won't smell very good after a couple days.

1-3 times a week, depending on climate, activity level, and hormones. Once a week is usually pushing it a little, but if I'm really sick I don't mind. My hair is really long so it is a huge pain to wash.

It's winter now, making my scalp even drier than usual, so once a week. I feel you on the frizz, still haven't found anything to really counteract it, myself.

Depends on the weather, but basically, the drier the air and the less sweaty I get, the less I wash my hair. If it's really humid, or if I sweat a lot, then I wash it. I never go for more than a week, though, without washing it.

Re: Inspired by #3

When it's natural, I try to wash it once a week. During the summer twice. But with real life and the fact that m hair takes about 1-2 hours to wash/detangle/condition....Once a week/once every two weeks.

When I have my hair straight, I tend to wash it once a month, or once every two.5 weeks.

My hair tends to get dry--not greasy. So at a certain point, people always wonder if I'm going to start locing my hair. Which I'm not...

Every day. I have fine, straight hair, so if I go even a day without washing, it looks greasy.

I really can't go more than 3 days without washing my hair. It starts to get oily and really uncomfortably itchy. My hair is also really thick, though less frizzy than it used to be - but I usually wear it up in a braid, so.

Every day. I have naturally curly hair, and if I don't wash it and condition it every day, it both looks awful and gets gross and oily.
