I know, what a weird way to phrase it. Like... of all the things internet access can be used for, fandom is THE most important? Not um... communicating with each other or the rest of the world, gaining access to educational tools, not utilizing social media to aid grassroots movements against corrupt governments, but... fanart.

That's how I took it. I don't think English is the secret maker's first language, and sarcasm doesn't travel well in text anyway.
