I find it really moronic when trans people tell non-trans people not to be offended by the use of cis as a collective term. Didn’t we all agree that only the group in question can say whether or not a term offends them? But I guess only trans people are allowed to tell non-trans people what language to use.


So yeah, fuck you.

literally what is offensive about being called cis? explain it to me. trans means other side, cis means same side, it is natural that those who are not trans are cis.

DA. "Cis" comes from university research projects and started being used by cis people :P . It's just a category (eh, I know some people like to wrestle in mud over politics, but on my side of the internet it has always been neutral) and is convenient for statistics.

Dunno how long it had been used world-wide, but it's nifty in Polish.
