Your secret sounds like you're blaming yourself for not liking your friends' trans-focused fics, because the fics reflect your friends' interests rather than your own trans experiences.

That's okay, anon. Just tell them, "I tried it, but it's really not my thing", and don't sweat the details.

Also, if you're that stressed out about what your friends might think of your unspoken opinions over their fanfics, you might want to ask your doctor about social anxiety, because that's exactly the kind of behavior I'm in ongoing cognitive therapy for.
