The only thing that annoys me is when people say they're big fans, but you'll go on about something that really doesn't take obsession to know, and they'll have NO clue what you mean because by "I love that" they really mean they saw the movie a million years ago or read the first two chapters of the first book or something. But even that's not really their fault... it's just a bit awkward.
