I do love how of all the characters fandom made gay (whether with canon in mind or not), Dumbledore is the one canon character no one ever wrote as gay when he was.

I remember reading some Dumbledore/Snape fic back in the day.

*g* Yeah, Snapledore! I read that, too, back then. I also remember reading Dumbledore/Harry, and it wasn't even all that bad.

AYRT - Okay, some, but I mean, compared to Sirius/Snape or Remus/Sirius (which was billed by many as practically canon)...

You're actually surprised that there was more slash about younger characters like Sirius, Remus, and Snape than about the 100+ year old character with a long white grandpa beard?!
