Musicians make music either for the sake of music, or for the money, or both. I promise you, there aren't too many of us who get all worked up about singing songs, or playing music, that don't correspond to our particular chosen beliefs*. And if we do, most of us are smart enough to just shut up and deal with it and not make things difficult for the other musicians we're working with.
Christmas especially is a huge boon to musicians, so any musician would have to think long and hard about not taking advantage of that.

*Except maybe the ones who make niche careers out of singing about those beliefs, or those trying to make a Statement with their music, but even most of those will sing at least some maybe-it's-religious-maybe-it's-not songs from time to time.
