Okay, speaking PERSONALLY as a Jew, I fucking hate Christmas carols with a seething fiery passion. I can't stand them. It has nothing to do with "Christian oppression" in the strict SJW sense that you're referring to in this secret, though, and this secret is fucking hilariously awful. No Jew thinks of it like the way you're suggesting.

I hate Christmas songs and music for two reasons: 1, it is unbelievably corny and saccharine and overplayed to DEATH and I am usually sick of hearing it by day 3 of December. I like things like Kyrie Eleison and ave maria that have actual musical value to them. 2, and this is definitely the lesser reason, yes, I resent having the Christian vision of God forced upon me from every direction via song in the month of December. If I hear someone warble "Lord" in a song one more time I'll cry, but at the same time, Judaism also refers to God as Lord, we just do it in Hebrew. So it's not so much oppression as suffocation.

And yes, these Jewish artists do it for money. I've met a couple agnostic people who are like, "you should celebrate Christmas, we do, it's not a religious Christian holiday, we're not Christian" and I'm just like, you're a fucking idiot. There's a holiday that's about family and togetherness, and that's Thanksgiving. If you claim to be Jewish and also celebrate Christmas, you are wrong and American capitalist consumerism has rotted your brain into mush.
