Well, yes - which, if you're not selling and someone says this - you should rethink your business plan. If you ARE selling, just roll you eyes and ignore the idiot.

Maybe I'm biased. One of my past employers went bankrupt because they, among other things, thought their product was worth more than it was.

I agree but I still think the person saying "your prices are high" is rude unless they were asked their opinion about it.

Bankruptcy sucks, but it's not on all the people who should have told you how to do it; it's on you, if it was only because you set the prices wrong. If you go for so long that you cannot figure out they're too high, you have a bad business sense.
