I get where you're coming from. It wouldn't bother me if it was 'some people draw characters this way and some people don't', but it gets to me when *every* character it happens with falls into 'hot, skinny, young and with very similar styling', and those designs become codified within the fandoms to the point where it can be difficult to find other designs. Cecil you can often find other interpretations of, even if the volume isn't always as great, and I don't want to tell anyone how they can and can't visually interpret a character, but...

I don't know, it wouldn't hurt to see more older/less skinny/less 'hip'/less traditionally hot character designs... To me it's not that those designs exist, it's having a hard time finding anything that isn't prettied-up.
