REAL FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS WRITE BAD FANFICTION.

Yeaaah. More like, 'good riddance OUT OF MY HEART THERE I SET MY EMOTIONS FREE'? ...I got nothing ~~unless of course they're the author themself/selves~~.

I'm not saying what the so-called BNF people did was okay, but what the other party did to make their complaints known was super-lame as well. SOB there's nobody guiltless, so stop harping on people just because they're BNFs and 'should know better'.

WELL TO BE FAIR THEY COULD'VE PRESENTED IT TO THE AUTHOR AS CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM, BUT... YEAH. I READ OVER IT, AND I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING THAT WAS THAT OFFENSIVE ABOUT IT. IT WAS JUST A SIMPLE "THIS FOUNDATION OF THE CHARACTER IS WRONG IN MY OPINION SO THIS FIC WOULDN'T WORK THAT WAY". I love my f-list to pieces for commenting enough on my fics that I'm too lazy to crosspost them. =D And, uh, being too mellow to tell me that I suck, because I like getting my ego stroked. -shot-

I'm not intending to start any wank, but just for the sake of clarity, because while I can accept being called out when I do stupid things--I'm not fond of being given the blame for something I had no part in.

Neither of us authors who were attacked started or encouraged this wank. We hadn't even seen ASG's post until MB posted hers and the wank was in full swing before either of us new what was going on.

We've both posted to our own journals on this matter and discussed a few things on MB's post, but we never asked for anyone to defend us and we never cried to the communities.

Not to say that we don't appreciate the concern and support that we've been shown, but we did not cause this and honestly I think we've handled our butthurt with a decent amount of decorum, thanks.
