Ugh. I never check this comm anymore but when I'm linked here by 489357 people for one secret, I gotta comment.

Sure, this game isn't perfect. Give me one that is. I mean damn, seriously. It's a fucking LJ RP, what are you bitching for? You're out of the game, gtfo and quit talking shit about it. You know, go outside, get some fresh air. BREATHE DEEP. It does some good, no rly.

Protip: no one is making you watch the game, moron. If you disagree with the mods, the clique, or how characters are played, don't keep watching the place. What's the point in bullshitting about something like a LJ game when you could be out like, idk, making your own or something that has the possibility of being a thousand times better.

I'm not going to deny that this RP has cliques, because hey, what RP doesn't, okay? Any RP that has more than 50 or so characters is going to have cliques. Purg isn't the only one. polychromatic, campfuckudie, luceti, econtra_rpg, template_rpg. I mean, all of them have cliques so it isn't surprising that this one has them as well.

As for mod favoritism? UH, NO. I'm like, best friends with one of the mods (both of them? idk, whateve') and my characters have always gone on the activity check and one has been kicked for inactivity. Also, none of my characters are involved in the ShinRa plot, either. So it has nothing to do with who favors whom. It's just who you're playing as a character and what they can contribute to the plot.

No plot for you? CRY MOAR. Make your fucking own. No one is stopping you; get off your ass and think one up. There is no rule that says "PLOTS ARE ONLY MADE BY THE MODS AND MUST ONLY HAVE INVOLVEMENT FROM THEIR BFF'S." There is nothing to say you can't think up something of your own, so quit dicking around and get creative; get yourself and others involved in your own plot. Isn't that half the fun of an RP? If you're there because you want someone to hold your hand and tell you what to do next, you're obviously doing the wrong thing for RP. Go play a video game; it'll work out better for you in the end.

Also; yeah, some characters ARE out of character, but give me a game where every single person is completely in character and not ever making a mistake. I mean seriously, never going to happen.

So just, seriously. Grow the fuck up, get the fuck out, and leave the RP, the mods, and the players alone.

Come back when you've got something real to bitch about, k?

I'm not even in the game (never even heard of it), but.. I think i love you for this. People who bitch about RPs like this bother the shit out of me. They don't like how it's being run... no one is forcing them to play/watch/whatever. No need to talk shit.
