It's clearly a soap dish.

Yes it sucks that you had to pay for the damage, but no it's was never even slightly conceivable it was a handle, just accept your mistake and move on.

Ok I'll be totally honest here, the people who keep bringing this up are way more obnoxious than Otaku was in that conversation.

Yes, it was a silly mistake. For fuck's sake one silly mistake does not an imbecile make.

Look, I'm not actually a fan of her posts but all props to otaku for sticking around after such a clusterfuck of a post and not starting the wank again whenever people mention it. Being able to do that means that she's learnt from a mistake and is big enough not to hold grudges (or at least make them an issue), which is something a lot of people don't manage to do their entire lives.

But at the same time, people bring it up again for a reason - because she was quite ridiculous in that post. I say let people have their fun, and eventually the pointing and laughing will fade into fond chuckles. Chuckles that otaku would be able to join in on if she ever feels comfortable enough about the whole thing to laugh at herself.

I wouldn't even call it a mistake to learn from since I think we're all allowed to say dumb things every now and then anyway. That it was memorable and funny terrible and took a while was amazing though. I don't know if she laughs at herself, but I'm glad she stuck around too.

I might agree, but some of the comments have been really mean-spirited. :/

The mistake was fine.

The defence, her attitude, and the way she exponentially doubled down is what makes it ribbing worthy.

ok but you said "just accept your mistake and move on"

F!S is the party here that seems to be completely unable to move on

constantly bringing it up and trying to make Otaku look like the village idiot is not "ribbing"

I don't even always like her, she and I have gotten into fights, but seriously this is getting old and she didn't do anything worthy of this kind of long-term ridicule

Ha, I remember that. That was hilarious and sad at the same time.

I think about this one rather fondly. It was such a clusterfuck but damn it was funny. Sane with the huskies.
