I think it's Elementary that shouldn't use the SH tag. House MD doesn't use it and they have equial connection to the source. I'm forever facepalming about that Elementary pairing, you know which one.

Well...in Elementary he is literally called Sherlock Holmes...so that's not the same camp as House.

No, that's stupid. Any media with Sherlock Holmes as a character in it, by that name, gets to use that character tag. There've been hundreds of versions of him, and they all get to use it.
