I don't think the argument for or against Euthanasia should even be couched in religious terms. Religion has no place in policy making.

I agree completely. Unfortunately in American politics, there are a lot of people who might not apply religion to euthanasia, but they'd happily apply it to women's health issues like abortion, birth control, etc. as well as gay marriage.

To be fair though anon was just talking about their personal beliefs, and made no mention of policy.

I fully agree that religion and law don't mix, but there's nothing wrong with talking about personal approaches to hot-button topics and how they relate to your faith, or your life philosophies, or something else like that.
