Okay everyone, it's like not all that long until Christmas and I just put up the tree and I need to share it with the world. So, everyone who feels like some Holiday Spirit (tm), feel free to post a picture of your Christmas tree (or Hanukkah thing or Festivus pole) in this thread!

Why's it in an urn?

That's not an urn. It was the smallest tree we could find with lights that still looked good. Consequently it's an outdoor tree for your walk.

We've been in small apartments for years, ok.

It's ver compact and cute. Is that our book collection or someone else's

(Yes, I'm one of those annoying people who inspects book/film collections when visiting)

It's what remains of our book collection. The tree is up there so the kitten (hopefully) won't destroy Christmas. On the lower shelves we have some Gibson, a bunch of Japanese art/history/theatre texts, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and GRRM. Then below that we have Plato, Homer, Dante, Shakespeare... and some other plays. Also a book on interpreting dreams and a manga series.

I really wanted to start wrapping tonight, but I don't have my brother's yet and I like to do them all at once.

(Worse, I was going to get my brother's tonight but an unexpected work-related thing prevented it :/ )

I, sadly, cannot. Our tree is white with "cold" white lights. In the light/when the (room) lights are on, it's very meh, bordering on ugly. It looks fantastic when the lights are out and the tree is the only light in the room, but the only camera I have is a very crappy phone camera, which doesn't take good pictures at the best of times - let alone times when there's no ambient light and the only light source is the photo subject itself.

Hahah well don't worry, the pic I took of our tree looks awful in comparison to the real thing.

Augh I don't even do Christmas, but I love this season because it means I get to decorate other people's trees. I had one job, and I forgot to break into someone's living space for this gdi :(

If I was at work I would a picture of the tree there. My only addition to it was a chocolate-covered marshmallow though.

we haven't decorated it completely yet - it just has the lights and star.

...Christmas is a week from tomorrow. We've NEVER waited so long to decorate it before! But I assume it's because my brother won't be home until Friday and we're waiting on him.

I wish I could, but we don't put up most of the Christmas decorations before the 23d, so no tree, actually at my flat there are no Christmas decorations at all as I am going back home in a couple of days.
