Once Upon a Time, Sleepy Hollow

For Once Upon a Time, I like interesting fairy tale adaptations, and I've seen a few actors who I like pop up in the show. But is the overall show actually any good? I've heard mixed things about the acting and writing. How is the writing? That's usually what makes or breaks media for me.

For Sleepy Hollow, the gifs look great and the premise is intriguing (especially a Revolutionary soldier ending up in the modern day - history nerd, I'm a sucker for these kinds of things), and I've heard good things about the acting and writing...but some of the posts I've seen about how awesome the show is make me wonder if it's actually that good, or if it's people trying to play it up to support a show with a leading WOC character. I hope it's good, but due to time constraints, I have to be more picky than I'd like with what TV shows to watch.

Sleepy Hollow is a very fun show that knows how weird and silly it is. It doesn't take itself the least bit seriously.

I absolutely think Sleepy Hollow is that good...in season one. Chard is right in that it's silly and doesn't take itself too seriously, but it was loads of fun and a damn decent show. Then season two happened, and idek what to tell you about season two. It was a fucking mess.

So...uh, I think the first season was wonderful, and the second was lots of frustrating, so I'm hoping we get a third that is more like one and less like two. If you should watch it or not? ...Uh, maybe try a few episodes, see how you feel?
