Also, men generally want their sexual fantasies realized while women generally do not.

Is that a thing? I have never heard that one.

It doesn't really make sense to me. What's the point of having a fantasy if it isn't something you want? I've never fantasized about something I didn't want. Maybe some elements of it might have been fantastical, or sometimes me creating a bad situation in order to make a setting for something I wanted, but the thing itself was always something I would like happening to me.

Then again, I'm not very good at abstract thinking (something women are supposed to be good at?).

...and now this is yet another exhibit on why I hate gender generalizations

ETA: I am really NOT trying to shit on how other women fantasize and I realized this could seem a lot like that. I was just sharing my own thought process

I generally don't fantasize about things happening to me, but I would certainly hope a lot of (nonsexual) fantasies that people have are things they don't really want. For instance, a lot of people seem to have a fantasy of zombies destroying civilization, with themselves as the few people who survive and are subsequently free to kill zombies to their hearts' content. I don't think most people would say that they really, honestly want zombies to destroy civilization--it's just a radical break from the mundanity of their lives, and I guess it's worthwhile to put aside your daily concerns for a time. Maybe sexual fantasies aren't so different from that.
