The two times I've nearly been bitten by dogs, it was by a lab and a lab mix. One of them came charging all the way across a street to chase me. If that isn't aggressive, I don't know what is.

Yes, your anecdata completely invalidates every other finding that pits inflict a disproportionate number of serious dog attacks relative to their proportion of the dog population.

We all know that already, though. We also know that pits tend to be owned by people seeking aggressive dogs and then trained to act that way.
