Depends on how turned on you are too, maybe? All I know is I've had drunken anal sex using no lube with no ill effects and I happened to be really turned on at the time. That's true of vaginal sex as well. If you're nervous and tense you're probably not going to get wet and relaxed. Penetration will be unenjoyable at best. Take your time, enjoy some foreplay and try again later.

SA: Yep, that falls in line with my experiences and those ones I've heard. Though experience and "everyone's body is different" also counts. Even with more experience and being turned on, I still don't find it as easy as those friends, or as easy as a friend who had lots of trouble in the beginning but now can do it at the drop of a hat.

Accidental anal is the worst thing. I was intensely surprised and it caused a hell of a lot of pain, like I was being torn apart from the inside by something with flame. There were tears and copious cursing on my part.
