I come from a non-English speaking country, and for the major part of my life I didn't even HEAR the Bohemian Rhapsody all that often, let alone know the lyrics so well as to immediately recognize this quote.

Fast forward to present time, I see this line and the rest comes blasting on in my head. Goddamnit.

It is, and also the English-speaking folk are obsessed with it. I managed to catch it via cultural osmosis even despite the fact that I'm about as social as a piece of wood.

It's a pretty kick ass song. And even if you feel meh about it to begin with, it's hard not to embrace it after one or two mass singalongs at concerts/festivals/random events. It's a cultural phenomenon I guess.

(Plus Queen are awesome and Freddie Mercury is a god.)

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who dislikes that song and doesn't care for Queen in general. Though Freddie Mercury was a class act.
