I was going to say the same thing as last year: "no one I know died." But then I remembered that's not true this year. (I didn't knows her that long but I have such a horrible last memory of her that I still think about it and her.)

I guess that's not a personal accomplishment, since I don't have the power of life and death but eh.

Um. I worked really hard on a fic for someone who was feeling rather hesitant about the subject matter, and she ended up really liking it. I was so nervous about it, but when people ended up liking it, I felt really good and excited. The satisfaction I gained from the reaction to that fic was most satisfied and happy I felt all year.

I think the small pleasures in life are just as important as the big pleasures. Well done and kudos to you on sharing your fic!

I am glad the person you were writing for loved it so much. Making other people feel great can be awesome.
