seriously calarts is pushing out CLONES! sure it all looks nice but they beat you into drawing just one single way as the "right" way and everything is getting DULL looking

It's not just calarts. I was in an art program in another school and one of my favorite drawing teachers was discouraging me from joining the animation program because she felt everyone ended up drawing in the exact same way afterward. I honestly think they are stifling creativity rather than fostering it.
