I actually thought Guilty Crown was one of the best anime I've seen in a while because it had characters that acted like real humans (which meant that they all did stupid, selfish, short-sighted things at some point) instead of like tropes.

Then again, that's probably why a lot of people didn't like it.

No, we didn't like it because it was a poorly written and boring trainwreck with a terrible plot, bland one-dimensional characters and Inori had no personality. Only good thing about GC was Egoist.

uh... did you actually watch the show? i would hardly call it a masterpiece but one-dimensional characters wasn't one of its problems.
