There...isn't one? Because the characters I like aren't carbon copies of each other and thereby have different contexts in which they view the world and would respond differently...

(Sorry if I'm a buzzkill on your idea, but that's how I feel about it.)

I'm always curious about people who feel the need to respond to topics that clearly don't fit them. Obviously this isn't going to be true for everyone. That's true of a lot of topics. What's the point of saying the obvious?

So that people know that THEY DON'T LIKE THIS TOPIC

Oops, sorry post police. Didn't realize this wasn't a place for discussing things from angles.

Are you kidding? So we're only supposed to comment on things we 100% agree with now? Fuck that.

I'm glad the AYRT posted. I agree with them.

Wow, way to take this to an extreme. This isn't like a philosophical debate. The thread is clearly about a specific type of person who has several OTPs and the ability to see them in a similar situation and likes a specific kind of fic.

I just don't see the point of posting to a thread like this to basically say, "This doesn't apply to me." If it doesn't apply to you, then scroll past. There's going to be tons of posts that don't apply to you -- do you have to reply to every one of them to say that? I can't believe anyone would look at this thread and not realize that it doesn't apply to everyone. So, posting is pointless if you're one of those people. You're not telling anyone anything useful or that they don't know.

I don't know how you "agree" or "disagree" with a thread like this. It's clearly not designed for you.

Then you should be clearer in your original post if you don't want anyone to disagree with you.

FS General Comments is for discussion. You posted an open topic and the anon you replied to it with their opinion. Their opinion was that they didn't think your idea would work for their OTPs. MY GOD SOMEONE CALL THE THREAD POLICE. You were acting like they were trolling you, or had mortally offend you.

No,
I really wasn't. I just don't understand how this is a "debate".
