Humorous in-universe racism, taking the POV of one race within a fantasy or sci-fi setting to make insulting statements about another such race. I get that it's supposed to be funny how it parallels real-life racism, but it tends to sound so similar that it's not really funny at all.

(Have I mentioned before that there are people in the MLP fandom who refer to zebras as "ziggers"? My eyebrows damn near shot off my face.)

That's... kind of quite funny to me. BRut only if it's used in a way that reflects how ridiculous racism is. I can see lots of people just making racist jokes and inserting zebras and zigger everywhere - that's not funny to me.
