Yup, perfect example. I can't think of anything else quite like those, though. Portal is not your typical game (no grinding, etc), but there is death, there is some degree of difficulty and though the story and writing is absolutely fantastic, it isn't anything like the Telltale games where you can make your own decisions and see the consequences of those decisions. Those games are pure, interactive storytelling.

(I wish there were more games like those, tbh. I love 'regular' games, but TWD games are very immersive and cool.)

I'll look up Telltale Games, thanks! Question, I assume The Walking Dead is based on the TV show with the zombies?

Yea, it's based in the same universe as the TV show, but you don't need to actually watch the tv show to enjoy it. There's a cameo or two, but they're small and you won't be missing much. It feels very much like a stand alone story, with its own cast of characters.
