Is it supposed to not be fun to play an easy game? I don't get the logic.

Speaking as someone who just inherited a used PS3 & has started playing around w/ BioShock, my reason for doing it is that I've been hearing friends talk about it & they seem to have fun, so I figured I'd try it out & see what I'm missing.
