Re: so I got a job
why are you jealous? ;-;Re: so I got a job
I've applied to a few places that are on the way to my dad's job so he would be able to give me rides, but having to work around his schedule means I'm not a very desirable employee (among other reasons) and I was rejected by all of them.
Sorry to turn your happy thread into a big complaint.
Re: so I got a job
Is there anyone who could help you move to a place that's closer to public transportation?
Alternatively, is there anyone who could give you rides to a driving course, or simply who could teach you to drive? (I like driving and I will totally teach you to drive if you live anywhere around me)
Sorry if you've heard all of this before. It does sound very frustrating and it's hard to just get started on getting out of a mess like that. I know you can, though!
And no worries! I'm not trying to direct the thread or anything, just wanted to post about this (and let people know about the book club thing)
Re: so I got a job
I've been trying to look into selling my writing since I can do that from home but I need to get comfortable showing other people my work and I have zero confidence.
Re: so I got a job
Do you live in the US? Which area, if so?
Re: so I got a job
I'm in upstate New York.
Re: so I got a job
I hope you do find something like that.
You're not close to me at all, darn. On the (very small) off-chance that you lived near my city I was totally going to teach you how to drive. XD
