haha, sometimes it feels like that! But I've been feeling pretty upbeat lately because of the job (even my car troubles - which turn out to be not as bad as I thought they might be! - didn't get me down too much)

I've actually known about the job for almost a week, but because of the holidays haven't had a chance to post about it. (I wanted to do it on a weeknight too so people who are in the book club would see the announcement)

Also I totally got a corkscrew for Christmas. My folks are awesome. They also gave me a growler of my favorite beer and a gift card to my favorite brewery. They have prepared me for adulthood well indeed. :)

Awww yeah. Those gifts are the best gifts. My partner got a Rhubarb wine with lavender from her parents for Christmas. It is taking the full force of my will not to open it right now.
