It felt like Bioware got a bit miffed at all the folks who pointed out that their "moral choices" were just "help everybody" or "let everybody die," so they switched it around so the "help everybody" choice sometimes looked like it was going to be the "let everybody die" choice and vice versa. There still weren't many choices between conflicting moral values, just a few nasty gotchas for doing what looked like the right thing.
