I love Origins, but it isn't for everyone. What's enabled me to play it so many times is I genuinely like a lot of the story, characters and side-quests, even when the game gets frustrating. (The Fade, The Deep Roads, etc.) Plus, it has one of my favorite in-game romances ever, and I do love the level of customization tactics gives you. I liked the freedom of choice, and prefer the way BioWare went about it in Origins.

But I don't hate Dragon Age 2, they're just very different experiences. Inquisition is as well. IMO Inquisition has some fantastic main quests and writing (and one of the best casts, too), there just isn't enough of the quality stuff. Instead of what feels like a billion fetch quests, it would've been nice to have some meatier side-quests (or a longer main questline). I actually loved most of DA2, and think Inquisition could've done with a bit more of it. (In some ways I think DA2 is the stronger game, and hope that BioWare finds a better balance next time.)
