-Achieve at least conversational fluency in Spanish (any advice on that, for someone who hates flashcards?)

-Pass APFT standards for both men and women because fuck my half-decade of sitting on my ass getting no exercise at all.

-Don't let my GPA get below 3.3 (I'm hoping to keep it at or above 3.5, but I really fucked up this quarter, so I don't think that will even be technically/physically possible within the next year and a half).

If I can manage all three of those by the end of 2015, I'll be happy.

The best advice I've seen for language learning is to try to think in the target language as often as you can. Even from the very beginning when all you can do is look at a tree and think árbol, and then practice making more and more complex thoughts. It's a great way to get practice even when you don't have a person to speak the language with and show you your weak points when you realize which words and points of grammar you get stuck on.

Thank you. :)

I try to do that as much as I can, which is pretty much the only reason I haven't forgotten what I've learned from Ye Olde Spanish Class. The problem is that I don't even think in words/language all that much to begin with, so it's a lot of extra steps for me to get to that point.
