I'd like to lose 30 more pounds for a goal weight of 160. I lost 70 pounds in 2014 but have been stuck at ~190 for several months. Time to buckle down and work out!

I'd be happy with 15 lbs for me. But congrats. (Back to walking half-marathon distance would be nice, or even 10k.)

I'm also stuck at 190! :D We can totally do it.

You lost 70 pounds? Damn, you are a freaking rockstar! Keep going to your goal weight, definitely, but take a moment to appreciate yourself and your hard work, because that is seriously awesome.

Go back to school and work on getting my degree in broadcasting, finally draw+write at least one original graphic novel (maybe not publish it, but just have it done-in-one), not get involved in any new fandoms next year, continue to pay down debt (so I can move into my own place without a roommate and not worry about keeping up with rent and non-essential/utility bills), and/or start doing more things around town.

Not exclusively in that order, but it's a start.

Run a half marathon. Probably not Dam to Dam, the one I planned to do, since it's only 5 months until race day, but SOME half marathon.

Apply for grad school
Finish my book

And what the hell? I'll go with a cliche - get more exercise. :)

Pay off all outstanding debt.

Start saving up to fix the roof.

...I'm only boring cause I'm old.

Use my time more efficiently. I have a ton of stuff I want to do and there's no reason I shouldn't be able to do a good portion of it if I was just a little bit more efficient.

Also, exercise. I'd like to lose weight but at this point, just having more energy would be the biggest plus.

-Write 100 words per day, with a solid definition of "day". Possibly increase goal once I feel I can do more.

-Lose at least 20 pounds and keep them off.

-Take my medication every day.

-Get a good role (at least one solo) in a musical. My regular theater group hasn't done any for as long as I've been in it, the director is balky about it, and I don't want to ditch my friends in that group to join a different one, so this one is sadly almost as unlikely as me losing weight.

-Get a bank account and get serious about saving.

Fix up one of my first drafts and start looking for an agent instead of always moving on to a new first draft because I suddenly decided that the story isn't good enough. I've written 20 first drafts of novels and novellas with not a revision in sight and it's time for that to stop.

And get my drivers license.

There are plenty I could (and probably should) make, but right now I'm just going with 'maintain my weight'. I've finally reached a point where I'm technically healthy. (And I'm at my goal weight.) I'm not happy with everything, but I'm probably in the best shape of my life so that should be enough.

Part of me says, "Another 10 pounds can't hurt!" but the rest of me is fucking tired and isn't sure I would even like the way I looked if I continued. So yea, maintain, keep working out, and try to make healthier habits.

-Achieve at least conversational fluency in Spanish (any advice on that, for someone who hates flashcards?)

-Pass APFT standards for both men and women because fuck my half-decade of sitting on my ass getting no exercise at all.

-Don't let my GPA get below 3.3 (I'm hoping to keep it at or above 3.5, but I really fucked up this quarter, so I don't think that will even be technically/physically possible within the next year and a half).

If I can manage all three of those by the end of 2015, I'll be happy.

Get back in shape. I managed this for a while last year, but then other stuff took over. Maybe this year I will finally be able to run 5km in a decent amount of time? (lol nah. I've never been a distance runner)

Read all of the books on my bookshelf by year's end. I own several I've never read and, if I don't read them, I just need to get rid of them.

Don't use my credit cards

(Anonymous) 2014-12-31 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
After a couple years of struggling, my credit cards will all be paid off next month. If I just use the one for my car in emergencies and don't use any of the others, I could save up for a house in ~3 years. (I have a shopping problem.)
