Thanks! I wonder how the purple works, that just seems weird to me, but I'm not an artist/color person, lol. |D

One of my aunts has white hair (because of aging) and she uses some sort of purple shampoo to keep her hair from going ugly yellow-white...not sure why it works, but it does as she has lovely hair.

Purple is the complimentary color for yellow, which means it basically cancels it out. It's like how in makeup, you'll see green colored concealers meant for red blemishes, or peachy/orange ones for bluish under-eye circles. Green/red are complimentary colors, and so are orange/blue, like yellow/purple are.
