Re: Why is female sexuality so creepy?
(Anonymous) 2015-01-01 06:01 am (UTC)(link)But when you see actress after actress getting reamed by 5-10 guys and after you've heard some of the horror stories, well, I can't help but to see that as "creepier." At the very least, it makes me far more uncomfortable than even the weirdest shit that some women write.
Plus, is the porn most women watch so very violent? Because I have watched a little bit of porn directed towards women and, while there is violence, it tends to be confined to an established BDSM scene. Porn geared towards women (from what I've seen which isn't a ton, admittedly) tends to be a lot more tender.
Porn directed towards men seems to focus so much on degrading and hurting women.
Mind you, I don't have any issue with watching porn in and of itself. But the way women are treated in porn makes me uncomfortable and I think it's a big reason a lot of women don't like it in the first place. I know that is true for me at least.
