Re: Dumb things you're judgy about
My sis subjects herself to holey socks though because she has favorite pairs.
Re: Dumb things you're judgy about
I still have trouble throwing things out even though I now have the means to replace them. I'm getting better about it, but it's still very much ingrained from being at points in life where no, it's not so easy to throw things away.
Bah, not really meaning this at you either. This thread just reminded me how rankled I felt as a kid when people told me this without understanding we were absolutely not on the same level.
Re: Dumb things you're judgy about
Hm, but you can mend socks? Holey socks just don't work well. =/
Re: Dumb things you're judgy about
It took way too long imo to relax about not being able to finish a plate at a restaurant, and not asking for a doggy bag. Eurgh these habits D:
We totally mended socks when there was time, and it's not a bad skill to have when zombie apocalypse time never happens I guess.
Re: Dumb things you're judgy about
=D
It sounds wasteful but I throw away chipped tableware. Because antisanitary and germs.
Feeling compelled to finish your plate is the worst! I feel like that when someone has cooked for me.
