tbh I would be fine with those people paying more for insurance too. It's just basic common sense that someone who engages in risky behavior or unhealthy lifestyle choices is putting themselves at more risk for health problems than people who don't do those things.

Your car insurance payments go up if you're the cause of an accident because you're considered to be more of a liability. Why shouldn't health insurance work the same way?
