Friend of mine. Nice guy, but he can be really clueless sometimes. I honestly don't think he understood why I wasn't amused.

I get that one a lot. Strangely, I'm actually terrible at hiding my emotions. I'm just really quiet.

Not necessarily the best logic. It might you less likely to be suspected in the aftermath, but the ability to hide emotion doesn't give you the emotional or physical capability to actually do the deed. And it possibly makes you more suspicious in the aftermath, as the insult itself demonstrates, because people find a lack of emotion in trying circumstances to be automatically more suspicious than an excess of it.

If they're going to insult you, they could at least do it based on slightly less faulty and self-defeating logic.

Being able to hide emotions might marginally help you good at being a killer (unless you hide ALL of your emotions and creep out the police), but being able to leave no evidence or something like that would be vastly more helpful. You might make a good poker player though
