They would also have the same type of thing you'd see on craigslist now. SWF seeking SWM or SWM seeking SWM...
They could get really graphic and detailed about fetish stuff too, since they were paying for ad space and they usually really wanted someone to reply.

Porn reviews, stripper interviews, and 75% ads, both personal and professional, and a lot of stuff that kind of fell into both categories. Thin soup by today's standards, but more than enough to fuel my pubescent wanker's cramp.
