Re: For the connoisseurs of erotic works
(Anonymous) 2015-01-06 07:05 am (UTC)(link)I was reading a science fiction book (Catspaw by Joan D. Vinge) and all of a sudden there was sex in it. That was hot. This was also the book that prompted masturbation, and whenever I read a book that had a sex scene, I'd always dog-ear the sex pages so I could go back to them whenever I wanted.
But the discovery of my collection was usually under the circumstance of "this book I'm reading happens to have sex in it and I like it." In my mid-teens, I also spent a lot of time staring at the scrambled screen for the playboy channel with the volume down low and my ear by the speaker. It wasn't until I was 18 or 19, when I heard about the Laurel K. Hamilton books, that I specifically picked up some of the later ones (having never read the preceding ones) just to read the smut.
It was also about this time that I started going to literotica, a site where there was both erotic literature to read and to listen to. And some of the ones to listen to were really just listening to sex, which is when I realized how much more I prefer aural porn than textual.
