Re: time travel!

I'm not sure there's anything I would change (maybe give my younger self a stern talking to about presenting myself better?). There's a lot of events I'd like to SEE, though.

If I was completely safe (as in, couldn't be killed or catch a horrible disease), I think I'd like to watch a gladiator fight, or maybe naumachia in the Colosseum? I just think it's such an iconic THING. This sort of ancient version of our media-driven, spectacle-focused culture of excess. I'd love to see it for real, to know if it was really as big and loud and overwhelming as it seems like it must have been, or if it's something that by a modern person's standards is just kind of boring and bland.
